WorkShop's founder, Doug Childers, AIA, has more than 30 years experience in architecture and urban design. He has delivered projects of all sizes and types including major hotels, vacations homes and master plans for entire districts. He has worked locally and globally with a long list of clients. Many organizations and property owners take on construction projects infrequently. This poses potential risks. What you don’t know, CAN hurt you. Our job is to identify the risks and manage the construction process throughout on your behalf. We do this by upfront planning (‘slow thinking’) and proactive management (‘acting fast’) during construction. We provide turnkey project management, owner representation & design consulting. We facilitate the development of clear project goals, budgets and schedules. We can provide design services or help you build the professional services team that fits your project. We advise and/or lead the procurement of all services and oversee construction on your behalf.
